We Pledge To Make a Difference

Concordville Subaru won the inaugural Subaru Love Promise Award in May for its dedicated support of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dealer-owner Peter Lustgarten highlighted the dealership's long-standing commitment, contributing $168,000 over the years.

The partnership began in 2006 after a donation and a hospital tour inspired ongoing support. Concordville Subaru selected the hospital as its local charity for Subaru's Share the Love program, aiding projects like a major expansion that provided single rooms for patients and resources for parents.

During four key holiday weekends, the dealership donates $100 for each vehicle sold. These events also feature car seat safety checks by hospital technicians. Additionally, the dealership facilitates no-cost leases for Subaru vehicles used in the hospital's outreach and injury prevention efforts.

Lustgarten affirmed their continued care: "It's a good organization that does a lot for our community."

Concordville Subaru Helps Make the Winter a Little Warmer

Since 2008, Concordville Subaru and the Auto Dealers CARing For Kids Foundation have donated over 1,200 new coats to children and youth in Chester County, including migrant, immigrant, and American families in need. The total value of the donation over six years exceeds $36,000. Partnering with local organizations like the COSECHA network, Penn State Extension, and the Chester County Intermediate Unit, these coats help families who are struggling financially or have recently relocated to the area. The initiative has received positive feedback, with families expressing gratitude for the warmth provided during winter months. This year, increased awareness led to even more requests for assistance, highlighting the significant impact of the project on underserved communities. On behalf of the network, we thank Concordville Subaru and CARing For Kids for their continued support.
