Concordville Subaru Continues Support of Nemours Children's Hospital - Gary M
Nemours Children's Health is deeply grateful for its longstanding partnership with Concordville Subaru, whose generosity and commitment to children's well-being has spanned nearly two decades. Since our partnership began in 2006, Concordville has contributed more than $775K in support of Nemours Children's Health, helping to advance pediatric cancer care and strengthen vital, family-centered services across our region. Most recently, Concordville committed an additional $150,000 to launch an Oral Immunotherapy Pilot Program in the Delaware Valley, to address a critical need for children living with food allergies. Oral immunotherapy represents the future of food allergy treatment and helps children gradually build tolerance to allergens under the care of experienced board-certified allergists. Nemours Children's Health is profoundly thankful for Concordville Subaru's two decades of support. Together, we are improving care today while building a healthier, safer future for children and families throughout our region.
Brandywine Red Clay Clean-up 2026 - Melissa M
The recent volunteer cleanup event organized by the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance was a significant and impactful initiative aimed at enhancing the local environment. It took place on April 18th, from 8 AM to noon, and was focused on picking up litter along roadsides and natural areas in the community. The Value of the Clean-Up Environmental Impact:** The cleanup contributed to the health of local ecosystems by reducing pollution and protecting wildlife habitats. Removing litter helps to prevent toxins from entering waterways, which benefits both wildlife and community health. Community Pride:** Such events enhance community pride and camaraderie. Volunteers often develop a greater appreciation for their surroundings, leading to more sustainable practices in their daily lives. Educational Opportunity:** Participants learned about the importance of environmental conservation and the impact of littering, fostering a long-term commitment to caring for the environment. Support from Local Organizations:** The effort was supported by local sponsors, showcasing community collaboration and the importance of collective action in environmental stewardship. Through these collective efforts, the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance not only cleaned up the area but also strengthened community ties and raised awareness about environmental issues. The event serves as a reminder that together, we can make a tangible difference in preserving our natural surroundings.
Subaru sponsors aquatic education program - Mike K
This year Garnet Valley Middle School Horticulture and Aquaculture students were given the option to pick a fish they would to study in class for the semester… After weeks of research of a multiple varieties of fish, they decided they wanted to study, learn and explore goldfish Orandas and Ranchus… These fish are beautiful cute adorable fish from Thailand… The students had to learn about the fish history, geneology, conditions and proper water parameters to maintain there health… Concordville Subaru has been an avid supporter of our program and every year supports the aquatic education of the students in our school district… This year without hesitation when I presented Concordville Subaru with our idea, they kindly and graciously sponsored our unit and made sure that we had everything we needed for our students to create, study and learn about our fish and aquarium… Thank you so much to Concordville Subaru for continuing to sponsor the education programs in the Garnet Valley School District…
CARing for Kids in Chilly Weather - Kate W
LCH knows that your health goes beyond the walls of our health centers. We partnered with Concordville Subaru and their Caring for Kids program to provide warm coats for children in our community and to bring a little bit of warmth to their winter. Volunteers from AAUW and the community joined LCH to give coats from the Caring for Kids program, blankets knitted by the Loopy Knitters of Ware Presbyterian, and toys donated generously for the occasion. Zaira, mom to children who received coats from the event, said, “The help you provide means a lot, not only to me but also to my children. Thanks to events like this, I know my children won’t be cold this winter. I’m happy that they get to enjoy the outdoors, and I don’t have to worry because I know they’re nice and warm.” Thanks to Concordville Subaru and the CARing for Kids program, this November, we transformed LCH West Grove into a fun and inviting distribution of hundreds of warm coats for kids!
Subaru Loves Learning at Marcus Hook Elementary School - Myeesha J
Marcus Hook Elementary School extends our deepest gratitude to Subaru for their continued generosity and unwavering support of our students and staff. Each year, Subaru demonstrates a true commitment to education through their Subaru Loves Learning initiative, and our school community continues to feel the impact of their kindness. Through their annual partnership, Subaru provided monetary gift card codes for our teachers to order much-needed student and classroom supplies. These funds allowed educators to purchase materials that directly support learning—from essential items like notebooks and art supplies to instructional tools that make lessons more engaging and accessible for all students. This thoughtful contribution helps ensure that every child has what they need to learn and succeed each day. In addition to the gift cards, Subaru representatives once again hand-delivered classroom supply kits filled with high-quality materials for both teachers and students. Their visit brought smiles throughout the building and reminded our staff that the work they do each day is seen, valued, and appreciated. Subaru’s ongoing partnership truly makes a difference. Their generosity not only eases the financial burden on teachers but also fosters a sense of community and shared purpose. Each new box of markers, stack of notebooks, and pack of pencils represents more than just supplies—it symbolizes encouragement, care, and belief in the potential of every child at Marcus Hook Elementary. On June 19, teams from Subaru Concordville and Nemours Children’s Health came together for a heartwarming Subaru Loves to Care blanket and care kit delivery at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Joined by staff from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Eastern Pennsylvania-Delaware Region, the group shared smiles, warm conversations, and a common goal: to bring comfort and cheer to patients and their families. Concordville Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community - Karen D
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Concordville, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Concordville Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Concordville Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/23/2025, Concordville Subaru donated 120 shoes/socks to Community Action Agency of Delaware County. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware has the privilege of caring for nearly 3600 unique hematology and oncology patients in the Delaware Valley. The generous support of the Concordville Subaru dealership — which donated over $45,000 raised during Subaru of America, Inc.'s “Share the Love” event — will make a significant difference in the lives of those patients and their families. This funding will enhance vital services, and support the exceptional medical care provided by Nemours Children’s dedicated pediatric experts. Additionally, Concordville Subaru's contribution will help advance research and treatment for pediatric cancer and blood disorders, bringing hope and improvement to the lives of children everywhere. Subaru Lends a Paw - Letitia M
We partnered with Concordville Subaru last year. We have had several successful adoption events. We love hanging out in the dealership making everyone smile. Subaru has been more than generous with donation drives and donating the very fun Chewbaru toys, lol. Subaru was very successful with special events and helped raise over $33,000 for our orphan animals. We are so honored to be a part of a business that really gives back to help.
