The Forester Hybrid switches between its gas engine and electric motors to maximize efficiency and power whether you're running errands or climbing a snowy mountain road. You get city commuting efficiency from the electric motors with the long-range capability of a SUBARU BOXER® gas engine that also charges the electric battery so you never need to worry about charging. With a range of up to 581 miles on a single tank of gas, you can explore even farther1. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
The 2025 Forester Hybrid is equipped with the legendary capability of standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
